Professor of the Ruins

vigilanteexknight:

“Well at least no one gets hurt and they’re harmless. At home he has a habit of causing trouble for the knights due to well if he sees someone doing something wrong he just acts. I’m happy he’s doing so well in school though.” Yuri knew she got that from him, she was the exact same way.

“Yes, I do get the sense from him that he’s rather impulsive, but trust me, compared so some of the past projects I had to reform—” she shook her head. “Let’s just say that some of my students have been less than compliant when it comes to my classroom rules, and I had to deal with it accordingly.” she chuckled. “This year’s class isn’t too bad when it comes to behavior. I’d be glad if I had most of them next year.”

“That sounds like him, it can be difficult trying to get him to no cause trouble. Sorry about his pranks, I hope they don’t cause trouble.” Yuri could imagine the pranks he pulled, but wondered would he ever not get into trouble.

“Well, they aren’t anything too daring. If anything it’s something to laugh about. The pranks usually don’t disrupt anything, but the kid certainly has imagination. One time I walked into my classroom to find that all of my paperclips were hanging like a streamer, connected in one long chain on the wall in back of my desk.”

“I later found out he snuck out to see how mad his mother would get at me. All I did was try to explain the female anatomy to him and he repays me that way.” Zelos realized he probably shouldn’t have told Raine that. She wouldn’t hurt him would she?

“You were doing whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat?! Zelos out of all the most immature, selfish obnoxious things to do, leave your Sex Education classes for an appropriate audience! Not your friend’s young child!” Taking her right hand and swooping in behind him, she slapped the back of his head with nearly enough force to knock him out. She was perhaps one of the only people who dared to knock around the Chosen without any regrets.

” But of course with splendorous glory!”

“Oh it’s just absolutely magnificent! Some of my most prized possessions have come from the Triet Ruins! And I haven’t even dusted the surface! I still also need to investigate some of the ruins in Tethe’alla! So much to do, so little time~!”

vigilanteexknight:

“I’ll be there, I hope Nylen doesn’t cause trouble at school. I always make sure he does all of his homework every day after he comes home from school.”

“Oh I have absolutely no complaints about him during class. He asks a fair amount of good questions and contributes, always gets his work done and gets decent grades. It’s just the pranking in between classes that amuses me.”

“Of course! I need to do something because I can’t sit in an inn all day and do nothing.” Canary nodded her head, smiling brightly. It was more like she didn’t want to burden anybody and have them spend gald on her when she could be going out and working. “Just tell me when and where~” Finally she could get out and do some good. It was something she had longed for for quite a while now.

That was a… surprise. The archer just stared at her, wondering if she had ever met a man with the name Raven but no. She couldn’t remember anyone during her time in the knights with that name.

“I see… thank you for that.”

Looks like she had to do some research of her own now.

“Well, I’m usually out of school around four or four thirty, so if you arrive at my house then I’ll certainly unlock the doors to my office for you. That’s where I store my notes, and I usually keep it shut so that my brothers don’t go setting up a prank for me unsuspectingly. On the weekends I’m free as well, unless I’m planning a trip of some sort, which has been happening rather often lately.”

“No problem, dear,” she said, rummaging around her bag for a scrap piece of paper and a pen. On it she quickly, but legibly scribbled down her address and other contact information. “If you ever need to get ahold of me, here’s some useful resources. I look forward to working with you, Canary!”

“And I’m afraid I forgot to mention that my birthday was on the sixteenth. I suppose it had slipped my mind. Twenty-four years old and I’m already forgetting things like this.”
